The AutoNation Shared
Services Center (SSC) is your
back-office lifeline, providing
an enormous range of support
services that can help you
function more efficiently and
effectively. The SSC is designed
to do many of the tasks that
would otherwise occupy busy
frontline Associates, freeing up
our in-store team members to
focus on what is most important:
the Customer!
The SSC was first opened in
2002 to streamline functionality
and assist stores with processes
that were not value-added
for store personnel. Initially, it
consisted of staff members in
three different regional locations
that assisted with accounts
payable and cash applications.

Today, the SSC has nearly 400
staff members operating at its
primary facility in Irving, TX and
in satellite locations across the
country. The SSC service offering
has expanded considerably,
too. Today, it provides vendor
management, business-tobusiness credit and receivables
management, Customer and
field support solutions, critical
balance sheet reconciliations,
vehicle inventory and billing,
flooring and dealer trades,
payroll processing, CFS product
registrations and cancellations,
credit card chargeback
management, lease support,
fixed asset management, bank
reconciliations and a lot more.

and cost effectiveness, the

Shared Services Center is
designed to streamline and
simplify operations for store
personnel. With so many tasks
shifted to the specialists at the
SSC, stores are better able to
focus on the Customer. Our
